Our Customer Journey
Step 1 – Select Your Design
Start your buying journey with a conversation with our dedicated Business Development Team. From here, you’ll select your preferred home layout, façade and interior colour schemes, and any desired upgrades you wish to include – all of which have been thoughtfully curated by our expert inhouse design and procurement teams.
Step 2 – Secure Your Home
Following receipt of your initial deposit, our team will prepare a draft building contract detailing your schematic selections along with any selected upgrade options. The property developer will also issue a separate contract pertaining to the land. Within 7-10 days of initial deposit we will require both contracts signed and the remaining home and land deposit be paid.
Step 3 – Building Your Vision
It’s time to meet your dedicated Project Coordinator and bring your new home to life! Have peace of mind knowing your investment is secure and protected under our insurance policy. Once settlement of your land is approved, Creation Homes will commence construction. Regular updates will be provided to keep you informed on progress and confirm quality at every checkpoint. Progress payments will commence with construction, as per your building contract.
Step 4 – Handing Over The Keys
Following our in-depth settlement inspection you will be ready to move into your new home. Creation Homes welcome new homeowners with a Handover Park comprising keys, a three-month maintenance warranty, and a lifetime structural guarantee. Plus, we’re now offering free 24/7 RACV Home Care Assist for your first year in your new home as part of our commitment to quality and delivery.
Commonly asked questions
How much deposit do I need to secure a Creation Home?
When purchasing a house and land package we will require a land deposit, typically priced between $1,000 and $3,000. Kindly note, this will depend on the estate and the property developer. Please connect with our Business Development Managers who will be able to provide more information depending on your desired package.
What home types and floorplan options do you have?
Our in-house team have designed a range of floorplans and facade options for each estate, or single home, to cater to the character of the community.
How long will it take between signing a contract and moving in?
Our current guidance from signing a house and land contract to moving in is as follows:
- Contract of Sale – allow 14 days for issue, signing and execution.
- Getting on site – once your land has been titled we are able to start work on your new home. Allow up to 8-weeks for site and project preparations.
- Construction – as per your contract, please allow for 22-weeks for a single-storey home, and 32 weeks for a double-storey, and for townhomes we estimate 420 days from site start to completion.
This information is accurate as at July 2025 – please refer to your contract for timeline advice relating to your specific home. Timelines can differ depending on the development of estate.
Can I make changes along the way?
We want you to love your home, and for it to suit your family’s lifestyle and needs. Therefore we encourage you to take your time, consult our designers and decide on the perfect plans for your new home.
You are welcome to make any adjustments to your plan or selections prior to the building permit submission. However, to help us stay on track for our 4-8 week timeline from title to site start, it’s important to finalise any variations before signing the contract and having them included in the agreement.
