Sustainable by design
Solar panels
Your home will come fitted with solar panels to generate at least 2kW of renewable energy. This will offset the bulk of your energy requirements and reduce your energy bills.
The Victorian Government is providing a 50% rebate (up to $2,225) for eligible households.

7-STAR NATHERS HOMES
The Nationwide House Energy Rating Scheme (NatHERS) measures the amount of energy needed to heat and cool a home, based on the building envelope, with adjustments for different climate zones.
A 7-star home will take 20 to 25 per cent less energy to heat and cool a home compared to a 6-star home.
WHOLE-OF-HOME DESIGN
The Sustainability Victoria Whole-of-Home approach to energy efficiency also considers the performance of appliances and their impact on overall energy use, emissions, and cost. It assigns a maximum energy budget, which can be offset by things like solar panels.
The switch to energy-efficient appliances can result in energy bill cost savings between $555 (mixed fuel home) – $910 (all electric home) per year, at current energy prices.
